For sale from business is a 1970 GMC 13-Ton Flatbed Truck (26,000 # rating). We have purchased another truck and a trailer for transporting the car kits and no longer have need of this truck. We purchased it in Dec 2007, and then only drove it about 230 miles in 2008. In 2009, we probably have driven it about 185 miles and parked it Dec. 2009. It is a great truck with lots of power (396 CI motor) and a 2-speed rearend with a 5-speed transmission. Tires are all in fairly good condition with the exception of the passenger side rear tires that show wear. The 396 ci motor was installed as a larger replacement for the original in about 2006. Originally the truck was rated for 26,000 pounds (note 2007 DMV sticker) when it had a drilling rig on it. That had been removed in 2007 before it was sold to me. The speedometer cable has not been hooked up since the new motor was installed, but is present. The tires are all mounted on 20" split rims with duals in the back.There is storage all the way around and lots of room to haul with the 8' X 17' flat bed. There is a gas tank behind seat in cab (approx 20 gallons) and another gas tank that could be hooked up that is located on drivers front side of bed (see pictures) that is about another 25 gallons.
